Service Introduction
What are the benefits of MAT for opioid and alcohol use disorder?
MAT stands for medication-assisted treatment. It helps to suppress symptoms and cravings that often accompany opioid and alcohol withdrawal. Patients are often able to live a normal life while on this medication.
Individuals that receive medication as part of their Opioid or Alcohol Use Disorder treatment are 75% less likely to die from a drug overdose than those not receiving medication, according to the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
What medication do you prescribe?
Our clinic prescribes buprenorphine/naloxone. This medication is approved by the FDA to treat Opioid and Alcohol Use Disorder. It has unique pharmacological properties that help ease the effects of physical dependency to opioids, increase safety in cases of overdose, and lower the potential for misuse.
Who Qualifies for the program?
If you are 18 years or older and feel you may be addicted to opioids or alcohol, please make an appointment. Our providers are trained in opioid use disorders and will confirm your eligibility and provide you with a recommended course of action.

Do you accept my insurance?
We are contracted with many insurance plans and networks, which are listed on our website under billing.

If I don’t have insurnace, how much does MAT cost?
We’ve developed an affordable bundled fee for the intital visit, which includes your visit, druge screening, pregnacy test (for women) a comprehensive metablolic panel. Each follow up visit is billed at a flat fee and can be done here in the clinic or often from your home using telehealth.
What to Expect
What is included in my initial appointment?
Our providers have training in treating opioid and alcohol use disorder. During your initial visit, your provider will ask you a series of questions and consult with you, to build a treatment plan that suits your needs.
The visit incudes a set of required tests, including a drug screening, pregnancy test (for women only), and a comprehensive metabolic panel. At the end of your first visit, if qualified, you will receive a prescription to fill at the pharmacy of your choice and instructions for your first dose.
How long will I be treated?
Some patients only require MAT for a short period of time to relieve symptoms of withdrawal and to help with initial recovery, while others lead healthy lives while benefiting from ongoing MAT.
After your first visit and labs, you will return in 3-7 days for your first follow up to adjust your medication levels. You will then have a follow up visit weekly until your levels stabilize.
Do you offer telehealth services?
We offer a telehealth option for follow-up visits, allowing you to manage your treatment from the comfort of your home. However, the initial visit must be performed in our clinic and in some cases a provider may instruct you to see us in-person for follow-up visits. We allow for walk-ins or same-day reservations.
Do you offer therapy services?
As part of your care, we will refer you to trusted therapy services that meet your needs, which may include individual therapy, group sessions and online options. It is not mandatory to see a therapist to enter our program.

Can I quit the program at any time?
Yes, we are a partner in your health, but it is always your choice to receive care from Jovive Health.

Privacy
Will my employer or family member know I am being treated for opioid or alcohol addiction?
No. As a high trust certified organization, we uphold stringent protocols to ensure your medical information is private and secure. If you prefer to not go through your insurer, we offer a bundled cash pay option.
Will I be treated differently than other patients?
No, you will be seen the same as all other urgent care patients. Jovive provides a flexible and private way for you to get help.
